5 Favorite Quotes from my 2015 Reading

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature created by The Broke and the Bookish, where bloggers share their top ten responses to a given theme. I tend to stick to lists of five!

I don’t have truly superlative “favorite” quotes, but here are a few that particularly fit my mood when I wrote this post. The first two focus on the richness of people’s inner lives; the last three are about the acts of reading and writing.

How do you keep track of your favorite quotes? I’m not a big fan of the “quote liking” feature on Goodreads, so instead I’ll use status updates to keep track of quotes I like while reading. If I’m feeling particularly fancy, I’ll dig up a fountain pen and hand-write a quote in one of my innumerable reading notebooks.

I adore the Neil Gaiman quote – I haven’t read American Gods yet, but that’s definitely moved it up my TBR list. I also love how beautifully presented your quotes are; gorgeous! <3

I love the Mosin Hamid quote, so fantastic. I love when quotes are short but really profound, where you need to read it a few times and let it sink in. Also, did you make all these designs?? They’re so gorgeous!

Love that quote by Neil Gaiman! I use the highlight function on my Kindle a lot. Or sometimes I take a picture with my phone, which I know is a little odd, but it helps me remember my quotes. ๐Ÿ™‚

Oooh, sometimes I snap photos of quotes with my phone, too. (That reminds me: I should really sort those into a folder or something…)

You chose thought-provoking and inspiring quotes, Paloma! I donโ€™t like โ€œquote likingโ€ feature on Goodreads, and use status updates, too. I also have a quote notebook on my computer (it actually just word document).

Those are powerful quotes! I love the quote from “How to Get Filthy Rich in Asia”, it is brief and to the point but still gives food for thought.

    Great post!
